Dr. Camille MacDermott, originally from California, joined the ESMS team as a technician on the race horse division in 2017, working seasonally through her first and second year of veterinary school. She received her bachelor's degree from California State University, Fresno in 2017 and her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2021. Dr. MacDermott spent two years at the clinic, one year as an intern and the second year as the surgery fellow. Since 2023, she has been a part of the race horse division and spends the off season at the clinic as an ambulatory associate.
