Dr Rudy Madrigal attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate and graduated with his DVM in 2013 from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He then went on to complete an equine rotating internship at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine before returning back to Texas A&M for a large animal internal medicine residency. During his residency, he was involved with research looking at Rhodococcus equi in foals and equine metabolic disease. He became a diplomat of American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2018.
Dr Madrigal has worked at an equine exclusive practice near Houston and as an ultrasonographer at a referral practice in Northern California. His professional interests include neonatal medicine and equine endocrinopathies. Dr Madrigal grew up in Texas with his family being involved in racing Quarter Horses.
