SPECIAL STATEMENT FROM ESMS REGARDING RECENT EIA OUTBREAK

We at ESMS are deeply concerned about the recent outbreak of Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) cases involving horses trained by Mr. Heath Taylor. Our team has been actively investigating this situation and remains committed to understanding how these horses contracted EIA.

While we are confident that the veterinary care provided by ESMS was not the source of the infections, we want to assure everyone that we are taking this matter very seriously. Additionally, we want to address concerns regarding Coggins test results — we can confirm that ESMS has never knowingly been involved in the reporting of inaccurate or fraudulent results.

We continue to cooperate fully with all regulatory and administrative authorities as they conduct their inquiries. The loss of these horses is truly heartbreaking, and our thoughts are with everyone affected. We kindly ask for patience and understanding from the equine community as the investigation unfolds, so that all facts can come to light.
