Veterinary Assistant
Elena Alvarez is a dedicated professional born and raised in Houston, Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Wildlife Management from Sam Houston State University in 2022. Growing up immersed in both the English and Western worlds of equestrian activities, Elena gravitated toward the Western side, participating in barrel racing throughout high school and college.
In May 2024, Elena joined the ESMS Houston division, working as an Equine Technician under Dr. Dutton. In her personal life, she is a proud mom to her 2-year-old son, Jackson, and enjoys the many adventures that come with motherhood.
